On the 13th of August Kris Defoort will play at Gaume Jazz Festival as a special guest of trumpet player Laurent Blondiau. Other invited musicians are: Michel Massot, Jeroen Van Herzeele, Guillaume Orti, Klavs Hovman, Marilyn Mazur and Tamas Geroly.
Currently Kris Defoort is working on Brodsky Concerts, a piece based on the writings by Joseph Brodsky in which he will be on stage with the actor Dirk Roofthooft. Together they create an homage to Brodsky ’s poetry.
